African Energy Resources (ASX:AFR) has received assay results for a further 45 drill holes completed in the initial program of RC percussion drilling and for the seven in-fill RC percussion drill holes at the Njame South prospect, within the Chirundu Joint Venture in southern Zambia.

Significant intersections, including some from in-fill drilling include 4 metres at 347 parts per million (ppm) U3O8 from 36 metres, 5 metres at 313 ppm from 29 metres, 6 metres at 323 ppm from 24 metres, 2 metres at 597 ppm from 10 metres, 2 metres at 588 ppm U3O8 from 8 metres and 5 metres at 690 ppm from 33 metres.
