The next rate cut has already hit the housing market

REA Group boss Owen Wilson is retiring with the group in a dominant position over rival Domain, and the property market in a near-perfect state of balance for the classifieds giant. 

As a cricket fan, REA Group chief executive Owen Wilson reckons he’s retiring exactly the way he’s always hoped he would – with a huge score on the board, and his team well on top.

Wilson, who will depart later this year, could certainly point to the scoreboard on Thursday, as REA delivered its first-half results.
