Christian Porter resigns from ministry over donation

Christian Porter has been forced to quit the Morrison government ministry following a conflict of interest inquiry into an anonymous donation he received to help fund a legal battle against the ABC.

Following talks with the Prime Minister at the weekend, the Minister for Industry, Science and Technology resigned from his portfolio to head to the backbench.
