Prime Minister Scott Morrison says the Quadrilateral Security Dialogue will not become a “mini United Nations” and will remain an informal grouping in a pre-emptive rebuttal of Chinese criticism of the forum.

Mr Morrison said the leaders level meeting marks a “historic” moment to send a strong message about the four democracies’ support for a sovereign and independent Indo-Pacific.
