Wine people talk about value a lot. Most often, they’re referring to “value for money”: is wine X worth the asking price? Is the winemaker charging too much? Value for money doesn’t always mean “cheap” in this context, of course: an outstanding $100 wine that’s every bit as good as a similar wine at $250 is still good value (if not quite a bargain).
