BMW has updated its i8 Coupe and Roadster twins, which still look futuristic after five years on the market. At the same time the German company has given its clearest picture yet of its electrification plans.
It will have 25 plug-in cars in its range by 2025 but insists that conventional piston engines will be installed in most of its cars well beyond that date. That is in stark contrast to predictions by some other companies.
