After managing to get an exemption in July to travel from Melbourne to our London home in Kensington, [my wife] Maureen and I have been over here observing Australia locked down from afar as Britain gets on, pretty much, with life as usual.

For example, we were at the theatre on Friday night, then at dinner with friends.
