There are few people who can say they have visited a place no one else has been before. David Sinclair is one of these people.

Last year, in preparation for launching his travel company Islands & Ice Travel, Sinclair visited the Astrid emperor penguin colony on the Antarctic coast abutting the Nivl Ice Shelf. The site of the colony was discovered using satellite imaging; his scouting party was the first to ever set foot there.
