There’s a good reason the foodie gifts so many of us are sending each other in lockdown are called “care packages”.

For Carol, who lost her life savings to a scam some years ago, the vouchers her daughter sends from the US are giving her treats of hot chocolate and scones from local winery Cupitt’s Estate, on the NSW South Coast.
