All publicity is good publicity. That’s an aphorism Daisy Knatchbull knows to be true. The Brit, born and raised in London and the great-granddaughter of the last viceroy of India, Lord Mountbatten (otherwise known as King Charles’ late, beloved Uncle Dickie) was working at Savile Row tailor Huntsman when she rocked up to Royal Ascot in 2016 wearing a top hat and tails.

She was the first woman to do so in the venue’s Royal Enclosure. The effect was immediate.
