In April 2010, the first iPad was released. Now, there’s every chance you’re reading this not on your iPad – breakthrough technology at the time – but your phone. There’ll probably come a time soon when you can read this on your watch, or maybe through a pair of smart glasses. Which is all to say: time moves quickly.
A lot has happened in 10 years. We witnessed the rise and rise of luxury and online e-tailers like Net-A-Porter and, closer to home, The Iconic. Lady Gaga went from wearing a meat dress at the Video Music Awards in September 2010 to wearing the Tiffany diamond at this year’s Oscar. Hillary Clinton brought back the scrunchie – and the pantsuit – while Melania Trump made her feelings about migrant children known via a Zara coat (or did she?).
