As the favoured holiday stomping ground over the decades for the likes of Brigitte Bardot and Jackie Onassis, through to Taylor Swift, the Swarovski family and Microsoft founder Paul Allen, the Italian isle of Capri pays dividends for retailers who can afford the hefty rents.
So it’s little surprise that Sydney fashion sisters Nicky and Simone Zimmermann chose Capri for the location of their third European store (behind their St Tropez opening last year, and London since 2017), unveiling the shop in late June with a glittering weekend-long party, the Bay of Naples providing a spectacular backdrop.
