Louis Vuitton artistic director Virgil Abloh has died at 41, after privately battling a rare form of cancer, cardiac angiosarcoma, since 2019.
The announcement of Mr Abloh’s death was made, fittingly for a designer who co-opted Millennial trends and chased the Gen Z dollar, on his Instagram page on Sunday evening (AEDT).
