Industry steps in to save Fashion Week – for a year, at least

Australian Fashion Week has a new benefactor in the Australian Fashion Council after the shock exit of IMG last week. The AFC, a not-for-profit organisation, has pledged its support for fashion week – if only for 2025.

Members of the AFC were joined by NSW Arts Minister John Graham and designers and retailers on Monday morning at the Sydney Opera House, promising a 2025 event for the fashion industry.
