Time has run out to snap up a $12,000 watch at less than half price but luxury bargain hunters can still snag heavily discounted high-end bags, jackets and sunglasses in one of Australia’s largest and most intriguing auctions – stuff left behind by travellers at the nation’s busiest airport.

There were as many wireless headphones and earbuds waiting for new homes as you’d expect – probably more – in this year’s instalment of the Sydney Airport lost property auction.
