The offering is similar to Google Shopping – type in your query and you’re met with image tiles and a brief description of the goods (including price and provenance). But Shopping GPT also pulls in review content to give you context about its selections. It’s all, as OpenAI’s Matt Weaver says, about bringing “a new kind of conversational shopping experience”.
