Biden was sworn in this morning, Australian time, he made a call for unity to a deeply divided nation – and he did it in navy Ralph Lauren, against a phalanx of Democrats, including Vice-President Kamala Harris, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and his wife, Dr Jill Biden, who also wore varying shades of the colour of their party, blue.
