What is it? The newest Porsche 911, the Carrera T, is yet another step on the grand staircase that is the “992” generation of Porsche’s flagship model. There were 23 variants at last count, each bundling equipment for a micro-niche and, in total, presenting a master class in removing the last available dollar from each consumer. The T stands for Touring, though it’s a historic Porsche designation related to touring car racing, not comfortable cruising. To wit, this car has lower suspension, bigger wheels and the sports-chrono pack. Reduced soundproofing and other weight-reducing tricks save 35 kilograms.
The Porsche 911 Carrera T in, gulp, Python Green.
