The Australian-made F1 machine built for the street

The F1-inspired Zacaria road car, made by a self-trained car-builder in country NSW, attracted plenty of interest when it was unveiled in Europe.

"Nought to 100 is sub three seconds," says Zacaria's creator. "But it's the 100-to-200 that's really, really crazy." 

The Zacaria is an F1 machine for the street, built not by a big team in some exotic race workshop in Europe, but by a 35-year-old self-trained car-builder in country NSW.

It might look ready to grid up for a Grand Prix, but the Zacaria is powered by a street-legal 6.3-litre Ferrari V12 engine and fitted with discreet lights, mudguards and a nose lifter for those difficult driveways.
