Rare cars arrive in Sydney as Concours season opens
A teardrop-style Alfa Romeo and a Porsche Can-Am racer are some of more than 40 collectible cars being exhibited this month.

This delectable Alfa Romeo – a 6C 1750 Gran Sport – has just arrived in Australia for the latest edition of the Sydney Harbour Concours.
With teardrop-style bodywork by legendary, Italian-born coachbuilder Giuseppe Figoni, this is the actual car shown on the Alfa stand at the 1933 Paris Motor Show. It is one of more than 40 rare and collectable vehicles of varying marques and eras that will be on display on Cockatoo Island from February 28 to March 2.
