Toby Price might not be as well-known as Australia’s F1 stars, but he’s still among our most successful international motorsport exports. The 37-year-old has twice won the legendary Dakar Rally on motorcycles, and is the only person to have won this country’s Finke Desert Race on two wheels and four.

He is one of the stars of the new documentary feature film Dakar: Race Against The Desert, based on the 2023 event. Once known as the Paris-Dakar, it ran between France and Senegal, but for geopolitical reasons “The Dakar” is now held entirely within Saudi Arabia.
