For singer-songwriters Bernard Fanning (Powderfinger) and Paul Dempsey (Something for Kate), the past 18 months were a dazzling “adventure” as the pair worked on their latest musical collaboration.
I’ve enjoyed a friendship and professional relationship with both songwriters over the past decade and I can read their faces. Judging from the excitable boyish smiles beaming from my laptop screen, their adventure was less The Odyssey – glory, sex, destruction – and more Hardy Boys – glee, gaiety, play.
