STC issues apology amid fury over pro-Palestine protest

Sydney Theatre Company has apologised for its lack of immediate response to three actors making a pro-Palestinian statement at a curtain call on Saturday, but not confirmed if they will be disciplined.

Actors Harry Greenwood (the son of Hugo Weaving), Megan Wilding and Mabel Li donned the Palestinian keffiyehs for three curtain calls at the close of The Seagull, an adaptation of an Anton Chekhov play by Andrew Upton.
