Former competition tsar Rod Sims has become chairman of the country’s largest performing arts company, Opera Australia.
A familiar face at opera and ballet opening nights, Mr Sims replaces Glyn Davis, whose 10 months at OA’s helm was cut short after he was hand-picked by Anthony Albanese to lead his Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet.
