Microphone mogul donates $5m to Sydney Festival

Peter Freedman, founder of Røde Microphones, has donated $5 million to the Sydney Festival to support artists struggling because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The man behind the advanced manufacturing success that is Røde Microphones has long been an advocate for creative artists, and has been the principal philanthropic partner of the Sydney Festival since 2013.
