Music legend Paul Kelly texted his long-time friend, pianist and composer Paul Grabowsky recently: "I'm at the Melbourne Recital Centre. We are meant to be on in five minutes, where are you?"

Grabowsky says he had an 'Oh! Shit!' moment before remembering his planned national tour with "trickster" Kelly remains on hold because of COVID-19.
