Miranda Otto reckons she’s met “at least six” babies named for her Lord of the Rings character, Eowyn (pronounced Aye-oh-wen).

“That character meant a lot to a lot of people,” she says. “It’s much more than me, of course. It’s Tolkien, it’s that whole world, it’s Peter Jackson and the films. I’m just a small part of that, but I am the face they attach meaning to.” The films, she says are “a part of film history,” a project she feels “super lucky to have been part of.”
