Charlie Watts was a gentleman and a star. Perhaps the least showy drummer in rock history, he played on some of the raunchiest and most explosive records made, the quiet force and swinging backbeat in the greatest rock and roll band in the world.
And he did it all with a flick of the wrist, while barely breaking a sweat.
