Brett Clegg might have funded the newest work by the Sydney Dance Company, but the artistic input from the multimillionaire communications mogul ended there.

“There is no Billy Elliott backstory when it comes to my relationship with Sydney Dance,” says Clegg, who has bankrolled Love Lock, by Javanese-Australian choreographer Melanie Lane, which premieres at Roslyn Packer Theatre on September 18.
