Oscar-winning producer Emile Sherman has spoken for the first time of the formative role his late father, EquitiLink co-founder Brian Sherman, played in his own increasingly illustrious career.
Speaking to The Australian Financial Review Magazine last November, two months after his father died following a long battle with Parkinson’s, Sherman was still coming to terms with the loss. “During his death I was able to talk to him, to cry next to him, and I feel like everything was said that needed to be said,” he says.
