First woman tipped to run Art Gallery of NSW

The Art Gallery of NSW is widely expected to appoint its first female director, following Tuesday’s announcement by incumbent Michael Brand that he will depart next July after 13 years at the helm.

Maud Page has worked as Mr Brand’s deputy director since 2017, after previously holding the same job at Queensland Art Gallery/Gallery Of Modern Art (QAGOMA).
