Cinemas star in their own COVID-19 horror film

The CEO of Palace Cinemas warns outlets have become the forgotten story of the pandemic and urged Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews to allow COVID-19-safe screenings from September 14 if they hope to survive.
Benjamin Zeccola warned that cinemas were among the first industry to be shut down but have missed out on a host of industry-specific support packages, leaving the sector to star solo in its own horror movie.
