Big international operas have been a centrepiece of the Adelaide Festival since it began in 1960, and for its 62nd anniversary it may have found its biggest yet - a requiem involving 200 performers.
Giuseppe Verdi’s Messa da Requiem will play over the middle weekend of the 2023 Adelaide Festival, from March 8-11, in a production by German choreographer Christian Spuck.
