ACO in Sydney, flautist in Berlin: concert film breaks new ground
For its latest digital concert, the Australian Chamber Orchestra gets experimental as it takes the audience into a small recording studio with a soloist on the other side of the world.
The Australian Chamber Orchestra premieres the second StudioCast of its inaugural digital season on March 31, taking viewers away from the spacious elegance of Sydney Town Hall and into a small recording studio for a concert called Bach and the Beyond.
“A lot of thought goes into the pre-production and concept so that every piece of music you’re going to watch feels unique,” says the film’s director, Matisse Ruby.
