$330 Oasis tickets fair, dynamic pricing a good thing: Live Nation chair

The chair of Live Nation Australia says the sale of 270,000 Oasis tickets within 36 hours shows their pricing, at $330 for general admission, was appropriate.

About 170,000 tickets were sold on Monday to those who had won a ballot for pre-sale access, with the rest gone by 1.30pm on Tuesday despite an additional show in Melbourne being announced mid-morning. The three Melbourne and two Sydney stadium shows, scheduled for November next year, included thousands of tickets priced at over $800 each as part of VIP packages.
