Qantas pilots call for Richard Goyder to resign

Qantas pilots are calling for the airline’s chairman, Richard Goyder, to resign, describing his position as untenable after the High Court found the company had illegally sacked almost 1700 employees.

In a letter to its members on Monday, the Australian and International Pilots Association said Mr Goyder and other directors had “overseen what may well be one of the most damaging periods in Qantas’ history”.
