The last two weeks provide a perfect summary of the last decade of the career of logistics entrepreneur Mark Rowsthorn – and none of it makes for pleasant reading.

Last week, the ports and logistics giant that Rowsthorn created, Asciano, was finally taken over by a consortium led by Qube and Canadian giant Brookfield.
