Inflationary pressure on car parts and labour will linger at a “high” rate into next year, Australia’s largest smash repair business AMA Group predicts.
The outlook comes with a battered AMA trying to renegotiate deals with insurers – its main clients – complaining it is squeezed between higher costs and fixed-price contracts repairing cars in insurance jobs.
