Vocus Group boss Ellie Sweeney will run Australia’s National Broadband Network, stepping into the shoes of NBN Co’s departing boss Stephen Rue as he prepares to take the reins at Optus.
Ms Sweeney has been named NBN Co’s next chief executive after Mr Rue resigned in May.
