Dylan Alcott can make your head spin, in a good way. He wants businesses to realise that promoting inclusivity and accessibility can make you a “f---load of money”, as well as being the right thing to do. And he wants people with disabilities to be seen on screen playing anything from superheroes to white-collar criminals, not just characters with disabilities.
Once a tennis star, Alcott has redirected his boundless energy into acting, scouring the country for the next unicorn start-up, and doing whatever he can to improve the lives of people in his community. A fierce advocate for the NDIS, the 2022 Australian of the Year has also left open the possibility of one day running for parliament. The only thing he isn’t doing these days is whacking forehands.
