A $40 million tennis bubble quarantine program swung into action as over 1200 international stars and their supports began arriving in Australia to begin two weeks quarantine ahead of the Australian Open.
Two time Open winner Victoria Azarenka and former Wimbledon champion Petra Kvitová both arrived on Friday, tweeting their thanks for the complicated arrangements to enable them to get to Melbourne.
