The Manly Warringah Sea Eagles rugby league club has stood firm on its decision to wear rainbow-themed jerseys for its clash against the Sydney Roosters on Thursday, despite seven of its players boycotting the match.
The players are refusing to play on religious and cultural grounds, following their team’s decision to wear the gay pride jersey.
