NAB employee cuts salary to train for Olympic marathon

Like many NAB employees, Sinead Diver runs before work. Unlike many of them, Diver will line up on the start line in the Olympic marathon on Saturday morning. And perhaps uniquely, she’s taken a pay cut to do it.

The winner of the 2018 Melbourne Marathon, whom Athletics Australia calls “Australia’s most successful marathoner at the international level since the legendary Steve Moneghetti retired”, has been training for years for the race that kicks off at 8am AEST on Saturday.
