The former boss of Deloitte Asia-Pacific, Cindy Hook, has been appointed chief executive of the organising committee to deliver the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Amid growing concerns about potential cost blowouts for major games infrastructure and the delivery of key milestones, including the $2.5 billion redevelopment of the Gabba as the Olympic stadium, Ms Hook said she was keen to work with all three tiers of government to ensure Games facilities were properly funded.
