Business leaders, deal makers, billionaires, ministers and celebrities were among the record crowd of 132,000 who flocked to Melbourne’s Australian Grand Prix to witness local Oscar Piastri fall short of a podium finish in his McLaren.

Piastri sacrificed his third position after his team requested he give way to faster British teammate Lando Norris, clinching third and fourth positions for the constructor.
