Chinese rising star Zheng Qinwen will carry the weight of 1.4 billion people on her muscular shoulders when she takes the court against a barnstorming Aryna Sabalenka in the Australian Open women’s final.

More than 14 million Chinese tennis fans, including a then 11-year-old Zheng, tuned in to watch Li Na, one of the country’s most iconic athletes of all time, beat Dominika Cibulkova to win the Open in 2014.
