Australian rugby’s problems only look to be getting worse
Irrespective of the result in the Bledisloe Cup, the local game’s structural problems only look to be getting worse.

But in the catastrophic defeat at the hands of a rampant Argentinian side a fortnight ago, the grim reality of Australian rugby’s parlous present, and uncertain future, was again revealed. Any recovery of the game’s fortunes, on or off the field, will take a long time.
