The AFL’s numbers man Travis Auld has all his fingers and toes crossed for a full crowd at the grand final in Perth on Saturday, after a COVID-19 scare put officials on edge.
Auld knows the AFL final series and the grand final in particular, brings in tens of millions of dollars “it’s a large number” which can make the difference between the game being in profit for the year or not.
