AFL pushes for June 11 blockbuster return

Australian Football League officials are pushing hard to restart play on June 11 in a Thursday night blockbuster most likely featuring powerhouse Melbourne clubs Collingwood and Richmond.
The players began mass testing for COVID-19 on Wednesday at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne with all players and officials to be tested over three days in the hope that training can begin in earnest early next week.
