The founder of plant-based “meat” company Deliciou says the group is on track to triple sales this calendar year as it steps up growth plans after a fundraising attracted new investors including former Aconex founders Leigh Jasper and Rob Phillpot.
Mr Jasper and Mr Phillpot sold their construction software company to US tech giant Oracle for $1.6 billion in 2017 and have become investors in a range of companies including Deliciou, which was established by Kjetil Hansen in 2015.
